Writing Prompt #6: The Tower
February's prompt is about sudden upheaval and destruction... and the revelations that can come after.

This month's writing prompt came from a little voice that's been in my ear. For a number of months last year, I was drawing the same tarot card from my deck over and over again. Those of you well-versed in tarot may not be surprised—or you might be concerned—that this card was the one called The Tower, which could mean a tremendous change is coming. Or it could just be the randomness of the universe that I kept getting the same card, the way you might always happen to look at the clock when it's 11:11 or 3:33. Either way, you don't need to believe in tarot cards, or my well-worn deck in particular, to use the ideas that come from The Tower as a story prompt.
