Invitation to Prompt Hour Workshop April 27
Need some writing magic? Join me in Zoom for a prompt-writing workshop on Sun., April 27 at 8:30pm Eastern!

I'm ready to write something new. Are you?
I just, on Friday, turned in a book proposal to my new editor, and now the hopeful waiting begins. On top of that my next book comes out in about five weeks, and you can imagine the to-do list and the complicated feelings about that. And add to that this undercurrent of deep uncertainty and fear—and I mean beyond what's happening with my book; I mean what's happened to this country. I woke up in a panic spiral this morning and everything about daily existence felt insurmountable. It seems like a small gesture, but I'm thinking that maybe writing something just for me right now, with no expectations, and no obligations, could be one tiny good thing that's in my control. Writing can be a balm, when the process is playful, when it's gentle, when anything is welcome to come out. Writing can be a way to look to the future.
So how about it? Write with me in Zoom for an hour or so.
This is an invitation to join me for the next Prompt Hour, a generative writing workshop for writers of all genres, on Sunday, April 27 starting at 8:30pm Eastern. It's free, if you're signed up already for a writer membership here on my newsletter. Otherwise it's just $5.
Just register in this Google form for the Zoom link!
You can sign up there even with a tentative yes; there is no need to officially RSVP.
